I started from 'scratch', as it were, when I first began designing websites in the early 2000's. Back then, tables were in vogue, and you 'sliced' your Photoshop design into small chunks and fit them into tables. Then came CSS, HTML5, Wordpress, jQuery, etc. - and those that didn't keep up with the trends got left out.
Wordpress is one of my favorite tools. Starting out as a blogging tool in 2003, it has evolved into a full-fledged CMS, and with it you can create the simplest one-page profiles to the most complex e-commerce sites. I'm still learning the deeper things of Wordpress, but right now, I consider myself fairly advanced in it, and I haven't encountered a problem yet that I wasn't able to solve.
Tell me what you have in mind, and I'll turn your idea into a visual template that's practical, intuitive, and relevant.
From installation to customization and everything in between, I can create a wordpress website that you and your customers will love. My service includes e-commerce development, plugin modification, theme customazation, API hook-ups, etc.
This is the most important aspect of any web project. Without the proper hosting, even the best-designed website will fail. I have more than 10 years' experience in web hosting and server management, so that I can provide you with a heahache-free hosting experience. Everything is taken care of for you. Monthly updates of plugins, optimization of pages, security upgrades, domain name, DNS and email management-it's like having your own on-call tech support.
This is the next best thing to having your own in-house webmaster. As your personal, on-call webmaster, I will make sure that your site is up-to-date and online, create new pages for you, add new products to your store, make some design changes to improve the site, and attend to whatever support requests you might have. Better than taking a pain pill for your headache.
I successfully managed the interactions between the allocated teams. To oversee the team's everyday operations, I worked successfully with the project owners and team. I determined the project's resource requirements and assigned roles and responsibilities to team members. Regarding the execution of deliverables, I gave support and feedback to the project owner. To consistently improve both individual and team performance, I provided direction, instructions, and guidance to team members. I make sure that everyone in the team is involved and contributing to the team's success. I ensured that the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and management were all kept informed on a regular basis. I was in charge of identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and controlling potential project risks.
Went to the States to attend the Interactive Web Marketing Conference in San Franciso, then further enhanced my design and programming skills while working for MMI, Inc. in Diamond Bar, CA. Moved up to Carson City, NV to work as Webmaster for Asset Management Group, a position I held until September of 2020, when the company shut down due to the COVID pandemic.
Back when people were still hesitant to spend more than Php 25k for a website, I brought in around 1 Million Pesos in website design sales using innovative marketing techniques and expert knowledge in web design technologies that were in vogue at the time.
Sold Internet connectivity via telephone lines. Introduced LANAXS to the market. This software enabled companies to have several mailboxes under one domain name using a LAN - something that we now take for granted.
Developed my public speaking skills as a Pastor of a local Christian church in Pasig City for 7 years. Worked as Corporate Training Director for Asian Pacific Realty, one of the leading real estate marketing giants in the 1990s. Conducted motivational seminars throughout the country and did serveral training sessions for salesmen and mid-level management personnel of companies such as PureGold, Rustan's, Coca Cola, Today Realty, etc.
Created seminars and training modules, training materials, tests and reviews, and other learning media.
Honed my design and programming skills while working for these 2 companies. Real world exposure is much better than classroom instruction. Built the company's e-commerce store using HTML, CSS, PHP/MySQL and Squirrel Cart.
Completed 2 years of ground school and earned my Private Pilot's License.
I didn't know yet at that time that I was destined for a tech career, and there was no Internet back then, so I settled for a 'generic' course.
